Visit Pembrokeshire Croeso Awards 2023

We’re delighted to be crowned a winner at the recent industry awards held in Haverfordwest.

Team Folly are absolutely ‘over the moon’ to be declared winners of the ‘Campsite/Glamping Provider of the Year’ award at Visit Pembrokeshire’s Croeso Awards held at Pembrokeshire College on Thursday 2nd November ’23. This annual event is held as a celebration of all the amazing tourism business throughout the county and was hosted by Mr. GoCompare himself, Wynne Evans. The awards are designed to recognise, reward and inspire and in doing so find the very best tourism businesses in Pembrokeshire and to shine a spotlight on excellence in the county.

As you can see, the ‘Campsite/Glamping Provider of the Year’ category was a strong one and we were honoured to be nominated as finalists alongside some of the very best business’ within the sector.

The happy faces say it all! Our Holiday Park Managers Becky P and Stu plus Head of Housekeeping Becky E were visibly delighted as they were welcomed on-stage by their host, accompanied by energetic applause from the gathered industry dignitaries.

Having first opened it’s doors in July 2020, the Holiday Park has gone from strength to strength in a relatively short period of time; picking up various industry accolades along the way. Starting life as a forty-pitch touring site with camping, the expansion was soon underway with the addition of six luxury Fair lodges and the first of our glamping offerings; the Showmans Wagons. The last 12 months have seen a significant investment into the park, with the addition of our newest glamping offering; six giraffe-themed Twiga safari tents. These have proved to be very popular with our guests as they offer something that little bit different. And the best bit? Not a groundsheet or tent-peg in sight!

Our MD, Chris Ebsworth, had this to say about the win:

“In our 35th year we’re thrilled to have received such industry recognition for our attraction and our still relatively new Holiday Park. It’s testament to the hardworking and dedicated Folly Farm team that we’ve been presented with this award. This validates all the decisions we’ve made so far and is proof-positive that we’re doing something right.”
