Our very own Lily Rice wins bronze medal in the S8 100m Backstroke Final at the 2022 Commonwealth Games!
She’s only gone and done it!
Not only is Lily a valued member of our operations team – but, after only picking swimming back up sixth months ago, she can now also call herself a Commonwealth Games bronze medallist!

A fantastic swim in the S8 women’s 100m backstroke saw Lily come in at 1:23:06 and win Wales’ first swimming medal at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games.

The whole Folly Farm family are beyond proud of Lily’s amazing achievement, and her colleagues were sure to give her a heroes welcome on the weekend once she returned from Birmingham. Watch this space – we’re pretty sure you’ll be seeing a lot more of Lily in the near future!
