A day out with us is always fun – with our award winning zoo, farm, fair and numerous play areas to explore. But we’re super egg-cited to have lots of eggs-tra treats in store over the Easter school holidays. You’re sure to have cracking time (love the Easter puns)!
We will have our themed Easter card hunts AND our themed prize trails. Hunt for our hidden cards – there’s a prize in store if you find one! And make sure you pick up a prize trail form from admissions to take part in our trail.
11.30am – 12pm: Our Entertainments team can’t wait to have lots of fun this Easter. They’ve planned activities in the barn such as dancing and games, as well as quill writing.
1.30-2pm: Craft time at the ‘Dog and Duck’ bar each day where little ones can create their own Easter chick, bunny ears or woolly sheep
2.30-4pm: Get your sparkle on and grab those *glitter tattoos from the Entertainment team in the fair!
But that’s not all – you can also decorate your own *Easter biscuits at the bar too. Yum!
*Some activities are subject to an additional fee.
Our photo op area in the barn is back to capture those fun family selfies – PLUS there’s an array of meet and greet sessions with lots of farmyard friends in our barn throughout each day. Make sure you check out our blackboards at the entrance of the barn to see the daily schedule so you don’t miss out on getting up close to some cheeky characters! We’ll even have some adorable Easter chicks to say hello to over the Easter weekend itself!
The zoo team will be running a new ‘Meer-chat’ session daily throughout the *Easter holidays at 12pm. Join them at the meerkat enclosure to hear a talk on our popular Kalahari critters, whilst they enjoy some tasty treats!
*Meer-chat sessions will be replaced by a zoo Discovery Drop-In over the Easter weekend itself.
As well as all of the daily fun – there’s even more Easter treats in store over the Easter Weekend itself.
Friday 18 – Monday 21 April
Look out for our ‘Easter Surprise’ egg-themed cards. If you find one you could win a chocolate treat!
Make sure you join our zoo team at 12pm. They’ll be holding a Discovery Drop-In where you can chat to a keeper and discover a variety of animal and zoo artifacts.
The farm team will be introducing a chicken meet and greet over the weekend – and with lots of chicks at this time of year, this is one you won’t want to miss! Times for these sessions will be displayed at the Jolly Barn blackboards.
