It was a very busy year, during which we continued to focus on supporting our local community and working on nature-based solutions to help protect biodiversity.
It was also a successful year on our zoo for the addition of endangered species through movements within the EAZA EEP and from our own breeding programmes. Our rare breeds on our farm also had a boost with the addition of a Suffolk Punch horse and the arrival of several priority breeds.
Our conservation partners benefitted from financial contributions over nearly £7,000 supporting their ex-situ projects to protect wildlife across the world and our education programme saw the return of the hugely popular Mini Vets week in May and a Hedgehog Day, a Lion Day and a Farm Day inspiring the next generation of conservationists.
