Food and Beverage Stores / Kitchen Assistant

The role:

This is a varied, practical role which includes both stock distribution and supporting within the kitchens during lunchtime service.

A typical day will include assisting with deliveries and the distribution of stock to our multiple Food & Beverage outlets between 7am and 11am to ensure the needs of the catering outlets are met. You will need to ensure the relevant paperwork is checked, completed and stock control systems maintained. From 11am you will be working within the Hungry Farmer kitchen, assisting with the lunch time service. Responsibilities will include:

• Providing a friendly, efficient food service
• Assisting with food and drink preparation as well as processing payments
• Ensuring 5* food hygiene standards are upheld and cleaning tasks completed to ensure the outlet is clean, tidy and ready for service

Who we’re looking for…

We’re looking for a team player, with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude. You must be aged 18 years or over and hold a full, clean driving licence, with experience of operating a forklift being advantageous. This is a physically demanding role, you must be self-motivated and able to work under pressure to ensure the effective operation of our catering outlets. You should also be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of health and safety matters to ensure company procedures are followed with care and accuracy.
