We’ve got 18 funfair rides. Dodgems, Golden Gallopers, the Cakewalk. Do these exciting names bring back memories?
And how about the Lakin Skid, the Rock ‘n Roll Waltzer and the Royal Coronation Speedway? They’re classic British fairground rides, and you can enjoy them all under cover. Lots of fun whatever the weather.
Stay with us
Are you a fan of our fairground? Then why not stay in our fairground-themed luxury lodges or Showman’s Wagons on our holiday park right next door?
A working collection of fun
Fairs and farms have gone together for many years – people would often work on both. We’re keeping that tradition alive. Our fairground is a grand collection of historic rides. All in full working order, ready for you to jump on. And while you’re riding, we play music to reflect the old-time fairground feel. You’ll also see information on each ride, telling you its fascinating story. And all have been restored with beautiful fairground art.
Many of our rides are little-one-friendly, but some have ride restrictions. Where possible, we’ll also help visitors with disabilities enjoy them too.
You’ll pay a little extra for the rides, as part of your visit to Folly Farm. But it’s much less than you’d pay at other funfairs, and you can set your own budget. It also helps keep the queues down. We also understand that not everyone wishes to visit the fairground, or have children that don’t meet the height restrictions, so by charging separately for these rides we’re giving you the choice rather than including them in the general admission price. You can set your own budget and ride all day by purchasing our fairground wristbands online and we’ll have them ready at our admissions tills or you can pay as you go by purchasing fairground tokens from our token machines onsite.
Please note: sometimes we may operate our fairground rides in rotation, so just wait by your chosen ride and an operator will be over to run that ride for you as soon as they’ve finished operating their current ride.
