Enhance your day out at Folly Farm with our goat feeding experience – a one-off experience that includes a cuddly toy and a personalised certificate! If you purchase day entry with your goat feeding experience you can save £s on our standard admission prices with our special £15 discounted experience day ticket.
What happens on a goat feeding experience?
It’s an exclusive opportunity to get up close to our goat kids, make up their bottles of milk and bottle feed them. You’ll be accompanied by a Jolly Farmer, and you’ll be standing inside our central farm animal pen in our Jolly Barn.
You’ll be welcomed by one of our Jolly Farmers and after a short briefing you’ll enter the pen. Our Jolly Farmers will provide you with bottles of pre-prepared milk and you’ll then give our goats their feed! Get ready to welcome some bouncy, hungry kids and prepare yourselves for what may be a messy feed – spilt milk and, because these babies aren’t potty trained, maybe even a bit of wee and goat poo!
This is also your chance to ask our expert animal care staff all about our goat herd. What milk do we feed them? How long is a goat kid a kid?
Your experience will last at least 20 minutes. It includes a souvenir cuddly toy goat and a certificate signed by your Jolly Farmer to take home so you can remember your special day.
Important: Pregnant women, or anyone who thinks they could be pregnant, should not take part in the experience or be the supervising adult.

Goat experiences take place in Summer and must be booked in advance.
There’s one session each day for a maximum of three people (two sessions may be available in peak school holidays).
This experience takes place inside the central animal pen area in the Jolly Barn.
This experience is only suitable for those aged 3 or over.

My daughter had the best time doing this experience! It’s so hands on from preparing the goats’ milk to then getting to feed not one but six of the baby goats! Kim was a fab handler. She explained all about what we were going to do and why. She was fab with my six year old who was a little nervous of the bouncy goats. It was wonderful being able to hold the goats, make the bottles and share the experience with my family.

Perfect day for all. I was a bit apprehensive hadn’t been to Folly Farm since I was a child thought a few hours and we’d be home needing to try and fill a day. And my goodness how wrong was I, we spent all day there! Absolutely loads to do! Reasonably priced to get in and also activities when there weren’t expensive. We booked the goat feeding experience for our seven year old and I have to say it was brilliant. She got chance to make up a bottle of milk to experience how it is made and then feed the group of baby goats one by one and got to fuss them all. I absolutely adore goats so this experience was perfect for me! Every single goat had a unique personality and were hilarious jumping around and doing zoomies. I’d recommend this to anyone and only advice would be to wear clothes you don’t mind getting a bit dirty because they have no idea of personal space and loved chewing on my jacket. Olive was our favourite goat!

Lovely staff member doing the experience. My daughter Sienna took part and she really enjoyed it. This was the first time the goats were being fed by the public, and it was amazing. The goats were gentle, and so funny, one even jumped on my partner’s shoulders when he leant down by the hay bale! Would highly recommend the experience to anyone, great value for money and a fantastic addition!
