Christmas Adoption Orders

If you’d like to order an adoption pack from Santa as a Christmas gift, you can add a Christmas message and we will make the start date of your adoption Christmas Day.

Please note the last day for posting adoption packs in time for Christmas is Thursday 18 December 2025. Any orders received after this date will not be posted until our elves return to the office after New Year.

How do I adopt a meerkat?

To adopt a meerkat just click buy now and choose if you’d like a bronze, silver or gold adoption. You can adopt a meerkat for yourself or for someone special and we’ll also send a special gift message along with your cuddly meerkat toy in your adoption pack.

Your meerkat adoption will last for 12 months and 10% of the profit will help raise money for our conservation partners. So you’ll feel great about giving this gift too.

Schools and group organisations can also purchase our adoption packages. Please call the office on 01834 812731 to make arrangements.

Fun facts about the slender-tailed meerkat

A group of meerkats is referred to as a mob, a gang or a clan.
They can actually eat some venomous snakes and scorpions as they have a certain amount of immunity to venom.
In the event of a predator attack they fight back as a group.
They have a ‘nictitating’ membrane on their eyes. This is a clear eyelid that they can use to act as a dust shield for their eyes.
Timon from ‘The Lion King’ is a meerkat. It is an historical Greek name meaning ‘honour and respect.’

As a personalised product, animal adoption packs are non-refundable; non-exchangeable; not for resale.

If there are any problems with your gift pack on arrival, please email photos and we’ll send a replacement.

We only send our adoption packs to UK postal addresses (excluding NI), the cost of postage is included in the price.

Our adoptions last 12 months and are for the species as a whole rather than a specific, named animal.
