What happens on a giraffe feeding experience?
It’s an exclusive opportunity to come face to face (nose to nose!) with our giraffes and feed them a mix of browse (that’s tree branches to you and me!). You’ll be accompanied by a giraffe keeper, and you’ll be standing underneath our majestic giraffes inside their enclosure.
You’ll be welcomed by one of our giraffe keepers and after a short briefing you’ll enter the giraffe enclosure and you’ll feed our giraffes. Get ready for a bit of giraffe slobber!
There is nothing quite like a giraffe leaning down to take food from your hand. A giraffe will never seem so tall.
This is also your chance to ask our expert giraffe keepers all about our herd. Why do they have black tongues anyway?
Your giraffe feeding experience will last at least 20 minutes. It includes a souvenir cuddly toy giraffe to take home so you can remember your special day.
