P-p-p-plenty of penguin themed fun is in store this Friday 25 April in celebration of World Penguin Day 2025!
Get to know our Humboldt and Macaroni penguins a little better this Easter holidays, with fun and games at the Penguin Coast enclosure. They’re certainly the cheekiest and some of the most popular residents on the zoo!
This celebration is raise awareness of, and vital funds for our Conservation Partners, working on the front line to save a variety of animals and habitats from extinction. This includes ‘Sphenisco‘, a charitable organisation working to save the Humboldt penguin which is classed as a vulnerable species on the IUCN Red List.
As well as enjoying all of the Easter fun already happening throughout the school holidays – our team are looking forward to seeing you between 10am and 3.30pm for pebble painting, themed games and a live talk and feed session with our fab zookeepers – as well as a fantastic raffle and your chance to win lots of penguin themed prizes. P-p-perfect Easter Holiday fun for the whole family!
